As the 118th Congress began Tuesday President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. re-nominated numerous candidates for the federal bench.
The nominees include eight potential new federal court of appeals judges and twenty prospective U.S. District Court judges.
All of the nominations had been considered by the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary during the last Congress.
