Tenzer is new managing partner
Hogan Lovells has named real estate finance partner Ana Tenzer as managing partner of its Denver office and environmental partner Emily Kimball as office administrative partner, the global law firm announced Jan. 23.
The appointments, effective Feb. 1, place two Denver-based partners in key leadership roles as the firm seeks to build on more than 30 years in Colorado and strengthen its position in the Rocky Mountain legal market. Tenzer succeeds Craig Umbaugh, who will continue as global head of the firm’s sports, media and entertainment group.
Tenzer advises lenders and borrowers on complex commercial real estate finance transactions, including construction loans, syndicated credit facilities, and portfolio financings. The firm said her work includes multijurisdictional deals and legal strategy tied to business objectives.
Kimball advises clients on environmental and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on the transportation and logistics sector. As office administrative partner, she will work with Tenzer on office operations, community engagement, and Denver office culture.
Hogan Lovells said its Denver office advises clients in aerospace, energy, life sciences, technology, real estate, and sports. The leadership changes also keep the office’s profile tied to sectors central to Colorado’s economy, including real estate, natural resources, technology and sports law.
